We started tracmoda to share the music we love and the culture that surrounds it. We seek to inspire talented artists to produce more and even better music, to increase listener awareness of music we highlight, and to document and enhance the way listeners experience this music. We’re somewhere between the realms of musician, journalist, and fashionista.

While music criticism and artistic criticism in general are very important, we focus on identifying artistic themes and ideas that DO work well along with personalities and culture behind them. If we don’t feel there’s something positive to be gained from covering a piece of art, we simply don’t cover it. If we offer criticism we attempt to do so in a constructive spirit.
